4. About the Code Execution Environment

The App's Python runtime (Pyodide, a WebAssembly build of CPython) is fully embedded in the app binary, and code execution itself never communicates with any external server. A network connection only occurs if your own code explicitly calls a networking library such as requests — this is equivalent to a normal network request made by a web browser, and we never collect or inspect the contents of that communication.

The App does not use any analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries. No account registration is required.

7. Purchases

SmartPython Pro is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks its features. Purchases are processed through Apple (StoreKit); payment information is never sent to us and is managed entirely by Apple. Your purchase status is verified on-device based on your Apple ID credentials.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Code, files, and editor settings you create are deleted from your device when you uninstall the App from your iPhone or iPad. A purchased SmartPython Pro is retained as part of your Apple ID purchase history, so it can be re-activated via Restore Purchases even after reinstalling.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Permissions

The App does not use any iOS system permissions such as camera, location, photo library, or contacts. Editing, running, and saving code requires no access to system permissions.
