1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions for using the SmartPython app (the "App") provided by softbase ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on iOS devices, for personal or business use, in accordance with these Terms.

The following actions are prohibited:

• ✕ Copying, modifying, adapting, decompiling, or reverse-engineering the App
• ✕ Selling, reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the App
• ✕ Removing our trademark or copyright notices from the App
• ✕ Fraudulently unlocking paid features by exploiting vulnerabilities in the App (e.g. spoofing purchase status)

3. Purchases

All fundamental sample code in the App is free to use. "SmartPython Pro" is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks advanced sample code. It is not a subscription (auto-renewing) — once purchased, you can use it permanently at no additional cost.

Purchases and billing are processed through Apple (the App Store). Pricing as displayed on the App Store is authoritative. With the same Apple ID, you can re-activate your purchase via Restore Purchases after switching devices or reinstalling the App. Refunds are subject to Apple Inc.'s App Store refund policy; we do not process refunds directly.

The App is provided "as is." We make no warranty, express or implied, as to the App's completeness, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for any of the following:

• — Damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
• — Loss or corruption of code or files you created or saved
• — Changes in functionality or incompatibility caused by iOS updates
• — Decisions made based on the App's output

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its content (design, code, graphics, logo, sample library, etc.) are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright and other laws. You retain ownership of any code or files you create within the App.

7. Changes to or Discontinuation of the Service

We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without notice. We are not liable for any damages you incur as a result of the App's discontinuation.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms take effect once posted on this page. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
